This will be our fifth trip to the sub-Saharan Africa. We visited Botswana in 2009 and 2010 and Uganda in 2010 and 2011. We are on our way to the amazingly beautiful Uganda again.

Just to remind those of you that have supported us before and tell the ones who are new to our cause: Cricket Without Boundaries send teams of volunteers to Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Botswana twice a year. The objective of each project is to coach primary and secondary school teachers (and other adults) to become basic level coaches of cricket. At the same time we link the game with HIV/AIDS awareness messages. After giving the adults the tools to get the messages across we then embark on coaching hundreds of children together. There we act as mentors to the new coaches.

Your donation will contribute to the cricket kit, t-shirts with awareness messages and coaching resources, that we will take on our generous luggage allowance to the country (BA are extremely helpful in this matter). The volunteers pay for their flights, visas, vaccinations and food/drink in Africa. The charity pays for the volunteers' internal transport and basic accommodation.
