Thanks for visiting the Royal Veterinary College's East Africa Emergency Appeal page.

Drought in the Horn of Africa has driven over a million livestock into the South of Kenya in search of grazing. These animals are starting to die from common infectious and parasitic diseases.

VetAid Kenya urgently needs funds to get more teams into the field in order to protect breeding stock and help pastoralists return to their former way of life.

£10,000 will get three teams into the field to vaccinate the livestock that is so crucial for a sustainable long-term recovery from the emergency.

Our Kenyan colleagues need our help so please donate now.

As well as donating here, you can also donate either £1, £2, £3,£4, £5 or £10 by texting your chosen amount plus the following code, DMWL73, to 70070. Your donation will then appear below.

The Royal Veterinary College Animal Care Trust (regd charity 281571) is mounting this appeal on behalf of VetAid Kenya.
