Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We have run our dog swimming pool and water walker for many years and have helped a great number of dogs. T he reasons dogs use our faciliities range from muscle build up post surgery, arthritis support, weight loss and simply to build up their confidence in the water. Many come for a treat, there has been a few birthday celebrations over the years!

Hydrotherapy is so beneficial for most dogs, we are taking this opportunity to host a swimathon to have starring some of our long term swimmers (and staff pets!) to raise funds for the DogsTrust and the Dogs For The Disabled. We would also like the idea of hydrotherapy to be more well known to the dog owning public.

At 11am, Cassie, http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3878097/Worlds-fattest-dog-slims-to-half-her-weight.html, will be coming to poen the event as she used to be a user of our pool, so it will be amazing to see how she is looking now, 9 monthys on from that article.
