We provide high quality hospice care to North Lincolnshire patients & families

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Recently we lost a good friend Diane Grosse to a short battle against cancer. Diane was cared for in the last few weeks of her life at Lindsey Lodge Hospice in between her short periods of time at home with her family.

The care and support provided by Lindsey Lodge to both Diane her family and friends was second to non. Nothing was to much trouble to show our appreciation and thanks we have decided to give a little back. We are going to complete a 23 mile  sponsored walk from Wheatley Doncaster to the Lindsey Lodge Scunthorpe on the 18th Feb 2012.

We are planning on starting the walk at 5am so if you would like to cheer us on along the way or even bring us a flask of tea set your alarm clocks !!!!!

The route we will be taking is as follows Wheatley along Thorne Rd to Hatfield, down the A18 towards Keadby then into Scunthorpe,  onto Doncaster Rd Scunthorpe, Scotter Rd then the home straight Burringham Rd to Lindsey Lodge

Any donation / sponsor how ever big or small will make a great difference as every penny counts !

Many thanks Vic & Estelle Burton
