My mum was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma at the age of 72. She has had to dig deep to find the emotional and physical resources to face the challenges of chemotherapy and recovery head-on. Cancer is relentless and it certainly doesn’t care about the practicalities of getting on with your day to day existence.
