On Sunday 3rd March 2013, we lost my Nanna - Barbara Hales. After being strong in her fight with cancer, unfortunately there was nothing else the Doctors could do for her. Beaumond House was originally to help with her transition into being moved home, however, when she made it there she felt comfortable and safe and chose to stay here for her final weeks. The carers were great and looked after not only my Nanna but were great with my grandad, Mum, Aunties and Uncle when needed. I cant be appreciate more what they did and this is my thank you. So, whilst my nanna is now a twinkle star in the sky - we are going to run this Krypton Factor style course on Saturday 29th June in her memory in hope to raise some much needed funds for a wonderful place xxx
