Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  Against our better judgement Rachel and I have decided to run the Cardiff half marathon!  It'll be Rachel's second half (she completed the Silverstone Half earlier this year) and my first.

 

As many of you will know, Rach was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease a couple of years ago so we're raising money for Coeliac UK - a charity that recieves no government funding and relies on public generosity to fund support, campaigning and research.  Coeliac Disease is an autoimmune disease where the body's immune system attacks its own tissues.  This immune reaction is triggered by gluten, a collective name for a type of protein found in cereals wheat, rye and barley.

 

It's a cruel thing when muffins, fresh bread and pizza make you very, very sick!
