Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My brother, Richard, decided he was going to take part in the boxing day dip this year. This is when a group of nutters (usually still drunk from christmas) congregate at Dover Beach on boxing day to take a swim in the sea. Its never appealed to me before, but i've decided to take part this year and hopefully raise some cash for a charity very close to my heart.

My son Adam was born on 22nd October 2008 and spent the first 2 months of his life at St Georges Neo-natal unit. It was the happiest and saddest time of my life having given birth to a gorgeous little boy, but who was so poorly. I'll never forget any of the staff on the unit, their skill and determination saved our little boys life, and their kindness and smiles kept us from going insane.

If we could raise some money to help the unit carry on their excellent work then freezing my butt off on boxing day will be worth it. Feel free to come along and support or laugh at us on boxing day morning too.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So, in the spirit of christmas, please dig deep and donate now.
