I will be running the New York half-marathon on March 17th in honour of my cousin Mark who we lost 10 years ago this June. He suffered from Neurofibromatosis which is a genertically-inherited discorder where the nerve tissue grows tumors. Unfortunately the tumours became malignant and resulted in us losing Mark. He was only 27 years old and had the whole world ahead of him.

Therefore I hope to raise as much money as possible to support this charity in finding a cure that could have saved Mark. I'm excited and scared about doing the run but I'm inspired to do this in Marks honour in the city that he loved.
