My destination has been confirmed and I will be travelling to Rwanda for 10 weeks from July till September! 

I will be working with the local community out there to help plan, develop and sustain long term benefits for the community such as environmental food production and access to water and sanitation. I could also be working with the local children educating them on their rights and health care.

This is such an amazing project and previous volunteers have made such an impact in all of these countries and I hope to carry on the work they have previously achieved. So any donation of any size would be incredible and beneficial for this cause! It's a big target I need to reach so please help me achieve it!  

Fundraising does not go directly to pay for my placement or for my flights, visas or vaccinations. It contributes to the ICS programme so that 7,000 young people from the UK and overseas can volunteer like me on projects in the developing world and fight poverty.

To help as an incentive to give I have decided to compete in two triathlons before I depart. I've been training hard (It's a lot tougher than I previously thought) so please give anything you can to spur me on!

My first triathlon is on the 5th May in Fleet! (Sprint distance) and my second triathlon (also sprint distance) is on the 25th May in Arundel!
