Pedal against poverty · 23 June 2013

CAFOD works with local partners and communities across the world - responding to emergencies, promoting long-term development and raising public awareness of the causes of poverty. We work with people of all faiths and none for a safe, sustainable and peaceful world.

Story

Next Sunday, 23rd June, Ed, Si, Alice and Vic are taking part in Pedal Against Poverty, a bike ride to raise money for CAFOD.

It's not London to Paris. Or even London to Portsmouth. But this 18 mile ride will still prove a challenge for most of us (apart from Ed).

We're a mixed bag - Vic is a Boris bike enthusiast with little experience of the open road, Alice is currently sourcing a bike, but was a natural on the Dutch roads, Si's bike is broken, but soon to be fixed, and Ed is a pro.

And so we are all taking to the wilds of Lee Valley park for CAFOD, the charity working to tackle poverty and injustice in over 40 countries.

If you could ping a few pounds our way to make it worth it we would be so grateful!

Love Vic, Ed, Si and Alice.
