Hi!

I'm fairly new to this fundraising thing and this is the first time I've asked people for lots of money. So, I really appreciate you taking the time to visit my page.  I've been inspired by watching many colleagues, family and friends all rise to challenges in aid of various worthy causes.  I think it's time for me to join in!! 

For my first event, I am taking part in an annual 10 mile sponsored horse ride organised by the good people at Wimbledon Village Stables in October.  They put a lot of effort in to raising money for local and national charities and I would love to support them in their efforts and boost contributions.  This year it's for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity which I think is a fantastic charity who work very hard at improving the lives of those affected by cancer. 

I need to raise a minimum of £500 to take part, so it's no small task.  If it makes a difference to your donation then I will do the ride in fancy dress (all your costume suggestions considered).   Remember...the higher your donation, the more likely I am to let you convince me to wear something completely ridiculous.  Of course, there will be plenty of photographic evidence too.
