Royal Parks Half Marathon 2009 · 11 October 2009 ·

Our charity is a thriving community of support for children, young people and families living with complex disabilities. We believe that each child and young person, regardless of their disability, should have every opportunity to explore their potential and live their best life.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be running the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon in October (!) and raising money for Chailey Heritage School in East Sussex.

Chailey Heritage School is a nationally recognised, non-maintained, day and residential special school.  They cater for boys and girls aged 3-19 with severe, complex and multiple physical disabilities and a very wide range of associated learning difficulties.  The school is entirely dependent on fundraising and donations to develop their buildings and equipment in order to meet the everchanging needs of these young people.

The Chailey Heritage School charity is particularly close to my heart as we have family friends with two daughters attending the school.  Over the years the charity have been a great support to the family and the girls love to be there.  The have a great and never-ending need for funding and donations to help them in their continuous quest to make sure that they can keep up this good work for years to come.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!
