Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As many of you know I am running the Brighton Marathon on Sunday, 18th April 2010.
I am raising money for The Stroke Association whose main focus is to prevent strokes and to give support to people who have had a stroke and their families through information, rehabilitation and support services.
Every five minutes someone in the UK has a stroke. A stroke doesn't discriminate. It can happen to anyone at any time in their life. Strokes are sudden and their consequences can be devastating.
£20 keeps their Stroke Helpline open for an hour
£50 helps them to publish information leaflets
£100 or more can help fund their research projects
Every penny helps so whatever you can spare, The Stroke Association will make good sure it is put to good use.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you for your support both in donating and words of encouragement.
