26 Mile South Downs Trek · 26 September 2014

We’re Age UK and we’re here to make sure every older person feels included and valued. Whether it’s providing free information and advice, tackling loneliness and isolation or campaigning for older people’s rights – we’ll be there. Your support makes it possible.

Story

On 26th September 2014 I will be taking part in the Total Gas & Power South Downs Charity Trek Challenge for which I will complete a Marathon 26.2 mile Trek across rolling hills and undulating terrain!! I have chosen to take part in this event in order to raise money to support Age UK in a bid to help them to combat loneliness. Around 1 million older people regularly go an entire month without speaking to anyone. But with your help, we can change this.

2014 has been a great year for me personally and I am hoping that with your help/sponsorship that I can spread the love to others in need of it. Those of you that know me will know that I would usually be panting like a dog after walking for 26 'minutes' so 26 miles really will be a huge challenge and all support will be very much appreciated. Big love xx
