On 11 April 2011 I am travelling to Nepal to trek to Everest Base Camp on the Khumbu Glacier and climb Kala Pattar.

 

Everest is 8848m and I will be (hopefully) climbing to 5545m.

 

The trek should take roughly 11 days, 7 or so hours of walking / climbing a day.

 

I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for this very worthy charity, I have spent a fair amount of time in Africa and charities such as The Mango Tree are desperately needed.
