I am running this half marathon in honour of my grandad, Ray Farenden. He passed away 7 years ago on the 20th of December and I have always wanted to do something like this for him. I am hoping to reach £250 for Macmillan Cancer Support, but anything over that will be going to the Alzheimer's Society as a tribute to him.
