Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am planning on growing and donating my hair later this year, hopefully to benefit two amazing charities that need help to give support and hope to those that need it.

I'm not sporty and I'm unable to donate blood because of a previous medical condition but I can grow my hair and so I'm determined to help where I can.

The first charity to benefit from this will be The Little Princess Trust (http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk), a charity that makes real hair wigs for children who have lost their own hair through illness. Several people in my life have been touched by cancer and it's therefore a cause that is close to my heart. If I can help give a child a confidence boost or a feeling of normality by donating my hair, then that has to be worth doing.

The second charity to benefit from this will be MIND (http://www.mind.org.uk/), a mental health charity that helped me when I went through a dark time in my life. They were there to support and guide me when I needed it and the work they do is invaluable.

And this is why I'm asking people to sponsor my hair growth, so that two charities can benefit - one with my physical hair donation and the other financially.

Please give what you can, it will go towards helping those who would otherwise continue to struggle and suffer alone.
