Parkinson's Disease Society 40th Anniversary Skydive · 12 September 2009

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Hey folks,

As many of you know, Nikki and I lost our dear Dad 2 years ago. Dad was suffering from Parkinson's Disease and we can tell you from first-hand experience that the resources and support for such an overwhelming condition are very thin on the ground.

The Parkinson's Disease Society is entirely funded by voluntary donations and since 1969, volunteers have been working with and for people with Parkinson's and those close to them.

It is with this in mind that I have decided to raise money for such a worthwhile charity via a skydive.

So please, please, please dig deep (because you all know what Dad will be saying about you if you don't :-) and help me reach and hopefully exceed my target of £500.

Huge thanks in advance

Vikki & family

xx
