Latest update:
I am extremely pleased to announce that on Sunday 13th June 2010, the ten members of my expedition, including myself, successfully made it to Mount Everest Base Camp after months of preparation and planning. I would like to say a massive thank you for all of your support. The donations I received have been extremely generous and will go a long way towards getting a new neonatal incubator for Royal Brompton Hospital.
Photos to follow shortly!!

Hi all, thanks for all your generous donations so far. As some of you already know, I've been in Nepal for a few weeks now, traning intensively while working with RCDP Nepal in an orphanage in the village of Rampur. I am finally due to begin trekking to Everest Base Camp this Saturday (5th June).
Thanks again for all of your support, shall try to keep you all updated whenever I can get hold of an internet signal.
Next stop Everest Base Camp!

Hi!
After months of preparation, this May I shall be heading off to the Himalayas to trek up to Mount Everest Base Camp. The arduous 14 day trek to Base Camp (5,360m) is to raise money to buy a new Neonatal Incubator for Royal Brompton Hospital. These incubators are used for very small newborn babies who require specialist cardiac intervention and or surgery immediately after birth.
This piece of specialist equipment will help between 150-200 newborn babies with critical cardiac conditions annually, by providing better access and care for newborn babies in an emergency situation.
For more information on the neonatal incubator, here's a web link:
Please help me to raise money for a great cause, anything you can spare will go a long way to helping care for babies born with heart complications.
Thank You
