Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for the Brighton Marathon. I'm going ahead with this madness so please sponsor me all you can.
What to sponsor me?
£ 5 could support eyelid surgery for someone with advanced trachoma.
£17 could support an operation to restore sight to an adult with cataract.
£75 could support an operation to restore sight to a child with cataract.
£19 could provide a Universal Braille Kit which contains essential school equipment such as a special ruler and geometry set for a child who is blind.
£250 could provide a Brailler for a child who is blind to use in school.
£400 could provide a portable slit lamp, a hand held microscope with a light attached that allows the doctor to examine your eye under high magnification.
So these are just a few ways that your sponsorship money can help.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks for taking the time. I and Sightsavers really appreciate it.
Vince.
