As a 40 year old father of 3, working in an office, the last few years have provided ample opportunity for a sedentary lifestyle, one that has slowly but surely lead to increased weight and a corresponding drop in health and fitness.  At the start of this challenge I weigh 118.3kg. My goal is to get down to 80kg but for the sake of the challenge and having a nice round number to aim for I'm not going to stop until I hit 78.3kg.  At 180cm tall, this is a healthy weight for me.

Why do this for charity and why should you donate?

I've been looking for an opportunity to raise money for this worthy cause for a while but most things I think of are not possible for me due to my weight and fitness issues, so I decided to make the rectifying of these issues the opportiunity.  The fact that people are trusting and relying om me to make a success of this is a big additional incentive for me so by sponsoring me you will not only be donating to a fantastic cause but also helping to motivate me to be a better example to the ever growing population of overweight children we see around us. The children are our future, let's do all we can to help and inspire them.
