Together with the WOAM team, we'll mountain bike across the harsh Afar region of Ethiopia to reach the Danakil Depression, a raw wound in the Earth that let us come in close contact with sulphur/salt lakes, thermoactive springs, lava boiling lakes and volcanos.It's the first all female attempt to cross this un hospitable remote region with mountain bikes. 

It will be hard, hot and messy. I will miss Marco and his biking expertise to support me during this challenge but I know that whatever the outcome, the money to WfWI will be worth every minute of pain and fear.
