<p>Thank you for visiting the Vodafone Group and UK Legal Departments walking team fundraising page.</p>
<p>On the evening of Monday 21 May 2012 the 8th Legal sponsored walk, a 10km “after work” walk, is being held in to raise money for various legal charities. The walk will be led by the Chief Justice, The Master of the Rolls, the President of the Law Society, The Chair of the Bar and the Chair of ILEX and over 3000 lawyers are expected to walk. </p>
<p>Now that we are located in London, Luxemburg and Newbury we will be both joining the main London walk and organising local walks in Newbury and Luxemburg to coincide with the main walk in to raise funds for LawWorks. </p>
<p>Law Works is the operating name of the Solicitors Pro Bono Group, an independent charity with a mission to support, promote and encourage a commitment to pro bono work across the solicitors’ profession, increasing the delivery of free legal advice to individuals and communities in need. LawWorks supports small charities and community groups across the , and the Vodafone Group and legal departments have supported the group for several years both through fundraising and by providing pro bono advice..</p>
<p>In the previous five years we have raised around £30,000 for LawWorks. All funds received through this page will be donated to LawWorks without deduction.
