Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Mark Mayer. I have a form of Cerebral Palsy called Worster Drought Syndrome. It effects me in many ways and I have struggled to deal with this growing up. WDS effects speech and eating. I am also Hard of Hearing and have to use Hearing aids. I have a wheelchair that I have to use as I can not walk long distances.

I have had many problems growing up with WDS before I found the Worster Drought Syndrome Support Group on the internet. I have been lucky to become chairperson of this charity. We support the younger children and other Adults with WDS. Being a Charity it is hard to raise funds for the group, this is why I have set this page up for you to donate.

Each year we hold a family day where the children, parents and people who have WDS can come meet up and share their experiences. The day gives a great support to us all and without the group I would not been able to achieve as much as I have today.

As you may expect running these days can be costly and we really do rely on your donations to keep the group running. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to our charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you very much to Sandy Hood's Students. Sandy is my Step father and has helped me very much to deal with my Disabilities. So please dig deep and donate as much as you can, this money helps me and other children with WDS.
