Story

Hello!

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page for the Worcester Paddle 2019 that we are participating in, so firstly here is a little bit of information about what we are doing and why...

On Thursday 4th July 2019 whilst our friends across the pond celebrate with fireworks, we will be creating our very own bang as a team of 9 individuals from npower by taking on a 12 mile route of the River Severn from Stourport-on-Severn to Worcester Rowing Club.

This event has been organised to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support who are here to help you/your loved ones find the best way through from the moment of diagnosis, to continue to live life as full as possible.

This is of course a competitive event that I'm sure will be a challenge for all of our crew physically as we sprint to the finish line to see who will claim this year's prize. However our challenge is nothing compared to that of those who have to go through/watch their loved ones go through the unbelievable challenge that is living with cancer. So whilst our efforts aren't going to find a cure and end this horrible disease, your generous support will allow us to raise as much money as we can to make someone's life just that little bit easier.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and remember any contribution that you can give, big or small, will help make a difference.

Remember - Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure way to make a donation. Once you have donated they'll send your money directly to the charity and they'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster with JustGiving.

Thanks in advance, Vicky Haddock, Mike Baxter, Mark Lawton, Remon Wolfenden, Zain Ul-Abedin, Rebecca Fowkes, Kal Dhillon, Mark Baker and Nikki Graeme

Please note our individual target is to raise at least £50 each but we are ideally aiming to raise a minimum of £100 each.
