Parkinson's has affected a few of the staff over the past few years. The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT) funds work to slow, stop or reverse Parkinson’s (PD).  They fund both clinical trials (some in Frenchay Hospital) and preclinical work which seeks to open up new avenues in the search for a cure - all of which have the potential to make a real difference to the lives of people living with Parkinson's. The charity has gone from strength to strength over the years. 

My Dad set up CPT after he'd been diagnosed. He died two years ago after a 17 year battle coping with the effects of this debilitating disease. I'm running this for him really, although if he were still around to watch, he'd be giggling on the sidelines at my 'athleticism'!
