Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us, we can help to kick cancer's butt for good!!!!

Towards the end of last year Elva's husband (Louise and Lynsey's Dad) Peter was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Thankfully it was treatable and he is now in recovery after having an operation to remove the tumor. He still has some therapy to go through, but things are looking good and it won't be long before he's kicked cancer into touch!

Kirsty, Caroline and Genna's auntie Janet died of cancer in 2012, by the time she was diagnosed it was too late to cure her. Hopefully in the future, stories like this will be a rare thing.

Cancer research is vital for all of our futures. It's not always a happy ending, but the more money that goes into research, the better chance of survival for cancer sufferers in the future.

Gift Aid it!
