Rat Race Urban Adventure- London · 27 September 2009 ·

The Connection at St Martin’s is here to be with people as they recover from life on the streets and move on to meaningful, fulfilling futures and a place to call home. We work with people, not for them, and put every individual person at the centre of their recovery.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page for Waggener Edstrom UK's entry to the London Rat Race 2009!

We thought we'd mix it up and change from our day to day rat race of making some pretty great PR in the PR factory, to testing our mettle in the mean streets of London.

This September, we'll be running, climbing, abseiling, kayaking, solving riddles, eating weird things, and getting our heads shaved (well, some of us). We’re putting ourselves through this partly for fun, but also to raise money for The Connection: a fantastic local charity that helps homeless people by providing specialist services including a day and night centre, outreach for rough sleepers, skills training, career advice, activity programmes and specialist support for complex needs.

We’ll be sure to get some photos of the team up soon – before the race, during, and after – but in the mean time, please dig deep and make a donation to support the great team we have and a fantastic charity.

Best,

The Waggener Rat Racers!
