<p>20 Years ago my mother sadly lost a long battle with cancer and passed away in the Somersham Ward at Ipswich Hospital. The Macmillan Nurses did an outstanding job and were amazingly supportive within the ward. Despite all of this, there was limited help and support outside the hospital.</p>
<p>In 1998 Cancer Campaign in Suffolk was set up. Their aim was to improve access to high quality information and support services to cancer patients and their carers in Suffolk. It is the only cancer charity in Suffolk where all funds raised are used to benefit people across all of Suffolk.</p>
<p>Since 1999, the charities fundings have helped towards the following:</p>
