MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

 

Both Kevin B and Kevin W accomplished the 3 Peaks Challenge together within the 24 hours with just ten minutes to spare.  Phil almost made it and a recurrence of a knee injury meant Laura had to retire after two mountains.

 

It was a fantastic effort by the four of them and the challenge was hampered by severe weather conditions.  Snow and blizzards at Ben Nevis and torrential rain and gale force winds on Snowdon.  With only an hour and 40 minutes left to descend Snowdon to finish within the 24 hours they pushed themselves to their limits and felt every painful step!!!

 

NEVER AGAIN!!!!
