A Group of five people (Paul, Rowena, Ruth, Sarah & Hollie) will be walking non stop along the South Downs Way a distance of 100 MILES (approx) from Winchester to Eastbourne on the 15th-16th September 2012 to raise money for
RAINBOW BRIDGE EQUINE RESCUE The walk should...take between 26-30 Hours and will be completed in 11 stages. We are hoping to leave Winchester at first light on the Saturday and arrive at Eastbourne (the finish) about mid morning on the Sunday. (Yes we are walking all night) Winchester to Exton (12 miles) Exton to Petersfield (15 miles) Petersfield to Cocking (13 miles) Cocking to Amberley (12 miles) Amberley to Washington (6 miles) Washington to Upper-Beeding (7.5 miles) Upper-Beeding to Pyecombe (8 miles) Pyecombe to Lewes (7 miles) Lewes to Southease (9 miles) Southease to Seaford (11 miles) Seaford to Eastbourne (10 miles) Supporters are welcome to join us on any of the stages, or help out maning the staging posts. |
