Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On May 25th we shall be walking for a purpose as we set out on  a 100km walk from London to Brighton.  Although we are seasoned distance walkers having completed 16 marathons, both walking and running between us, this will be our biggest and longest challenge. We aim to complete our walk in less than 24 hours.

Our training will start as soon as the new Year dawns. And why are we putting ourselves through the pain and strain of both the training and the walk?

This year we have committed ourselves to each raising at least £350 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Sadly this past year our father and grandfather has been diagnosed with cancer and when visiting the cancer unit the green posters  and leaflets supplied by Macmillan have been highly visible providing information and support for those suffering from Cancer and their families. This is just one of the ways that Macmillan helps those suffering from Cancer.
