I am taking part in Coventry Half Marathon to help PennyAppeal raise money for Rohingya Crisis.

PennyAppeal is fundraising for Rohingya Muslims. UNHCR has pleaded for assistance, saying it needed more land so it could set up new camps
to accommodate refugees who were arriving hungry, traumatized and in need of medical assistance. “Most have walked for days from their villages — hiding in jungles, crossing mountains and rivers with what they could salvage from their homes,” the agency said in a statement. “An unknown number could still be stranded at the border.”
The needs assessments and interviews have shown that the people in Rohingya are in desperate need of food and shelter. To address this, Penny Appeal has distributed a number of Food Packs and Emergency Shelter in Rohingya.
With your help we can provide the Rohingya people with the following support:
Food Packs : Typically our food packs contain nutritional items like pasta, rice, sugar and chickpeas and can support families for an entire month. ONE FAMILY FOOD PACK COSTS GBP.50/-
Family Essential Kit: This provides simple items for families such as Clothes, Blankets and
Health and Hygiene items. This can make a massive difference to a Rohingya refugees
health.
Medical Supply and Services: This allows the Rohingya refugees to have access to medical
health and medicines.
Small Shelter: Give a family warmth, security and protection by providing them with
shelter.
Water Solution: Provide access to water to a family of 6-8 people. Water supplies and
storage equipment – jars, jerry cans plus water purification tablets.
Large Shelter: Provide warmth, security and protectionand protection. for 8 families.
