Story
Salaam Alaykum Everyone!
Most of us complain about how our tap water isn't cold enough or tastes different to the water from our home cities.
Now imagine; 4,500 miles away there are people who have to walk for hours to access water. And this water is nothing like the water we are complaining about. It's dirty and often not even safe to drink. They are drinking this water and giving it to their young children to consume. Why? Because they like its taste? No. They have no other choice.
Now let me draw up a simple equation for you. Many of the people in the poor areas of Ghana don't have access to clean water. You have money. Money = Water well = safe water for our brothers and sisters to drink.
No money = no water well = no safe water.
Will you solve the equation and help solve the biggest problem in someone else's life?
Pakistan's prime minister, Imran Khan, was once questioned in an interview "why are you so 'kanjoos'" which translates to "why are you so stingy with your money" - in reference to his modest lifestyle. Mr Khan responded with the following question: Who is actually stingy, the person who earns money and spends it all on themselves; making sure they live the best life possible. Or the person who saves money, spends only what he needs on himself and gives the rest to those who truly need it?
Now I pose the same question to you. Which type of person are you?

I will be climbing Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in the UK, this upcoming Saturday to raise money to build deep tube wells in Ghana. I need all your support. Please pray that I and the rest of the USIC team can get all the way to the top of the mountain.
If you are interested in joining us on this trek then message me and I will send you the link to sign up.
May Allah reward of you who contribute towards the cause, regardless how much you donate.
Jazak Allah Khair
