We are doing this in honour of our friend and colleague who has recently been diagnosed with MND and to coincide with MND Awareness month, we have arranged a 10,000ft Tandem Sky Diveon Monday 17 June at the Redlands Airfield, Swindon, Wiltshire.
Few disorders are as devastating as Motor Neurone Disease. Imagine being trapped inside a body that can’t move, that’s the devastating reality of MND. It is a rapidly progressive, fatal disease that can affect any adult at any time. The cause of MND is unknown and there is no known cure.
It is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland working to help people with MND secure the care and support they need, whilst also promoting research into causes, treatments and a cure. As a leader in funding and promoting MND research, the Association helps kick-start exciting new areas of investigation into MND to help understand the causes and, most importantly, how to cure it so that it no longer devastates lives. The MND Association rely almost entirely on the generosity of the public to provide these services
