We are running round the world (not literally!!) in aid of an amazing charity - Alder Hey Children's hospital.  We are all Mums, Sisters, Aunties, Grandmothers, Cousins who appreciate how precious our children are, and how awful it is when our children are sick.  Alder Hey Children's Hospital does amazing and pioneering work, making very sick children better.   By Running the World we were hoping to raise £12,500 which would enable Alder Hey to build a room for a sick child who needs to be in hospital.  However we met our target in 4 months - SOOOOO  we know want to raise enough money to buy  rooms!!

We will be running lots of events this year and would be grateful if you could sponsor us for these events - every mile counts towards our total. 

Some of us are kicking off the year running Helsby Half Marathon on 19th January, a big contingent will be participating in the Liverpool Rock n Roll Marathon and Half Marathon on 25th May - several ladies are going for the full 26.2 miles!!!  We will also have ladies running in the Blackpool Half Marathon in February, and in the EHM (Warrington) at the end of September.
