Coast to coast walk Rotork · 2 April 2016

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

192 miles, 10 grueling stages over four weekends in April.

Almost 30 employees (and various friends and family) from
Rotork in Leeds are giving up their weekends this April to walk the famous Wainwrights Coast to Coast walk. Starting from the Irish Sea at St Bees on Saturday 2nd April and finishing up on 24th April at North Sea at Robin Hood's Bay.

Crossing three National parks, the Lake District, the
Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors with ages ranging from 22 to 63 this will be a real test for most of those taking part.

The employees are doing this to support their local Teenage
Cancer Trust which has touched the lives of some of the employee’s friends and families, giving back something for the wonderful and unique support which the Trust has given to them and their families.
