The Heaton Ellis Trust aims to find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease. The Trust is committed to raising over £1million to fund the research programme headed by Professor Chris Shaw at the department of Clinical Neuroscience at King’s College Hospital in London.

<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit&nbsp;our JustGiving page.</p> <p>We, the Watership Wanderers,&nbsp;are walking 44 miles (The Test Way) which starts in Inkpen and ends up&nbsp;on the south coast (Eling)&nbsp;on 30th April and 1st May in aid of the Heaton Ellis Trust.</p> <p>The Heaton-Ellis Trust was formed in 2009 in memory of David Heaton-Ellis&nbsp;(<a href="http://www.heatonellistrust.com/">www.heatonellistrust.com</a>)&nbsp;with the specific aim of finding a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.&nbsp; The Trust is committed to raising &pound;1million to fund the research and has made some exciting advances already - four genes have already been found out of an estimated 20.&nbsp; The Trust has raised &pound;700,000 to date but needs to reach that &pound;1 million as soon as possible&nbsp;.&nbsp; For every &pound;1 you donate the Medical Research Council donates a further &pound;3 and with gift aid, every &pound;1 means &pound;4.25 for the Trust.&nbsp; Thank you for your support every &pound;1 really does make a massive difference.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
