Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you know I'm going to India in December to visit the Russ Foundation, a charity which runs an orphanage, medical centres, an AIDs programme, a microfinance initaitive and provides most of the social services we take for granted in this country, to a small area of rural India (www.russfoundation.in for more info on the incredible work they do). I've paid for my flights, accomodation etc so all the money here goes straight to the "serving the deserving" at the Russ Foundation.

Please sponsor me - I will be giving up caffeine, alcohol, chocolate and meat (i.e. everything worth eating/drinking) for the month of October. If any of you have ever seen me in the morning with out a cup of coffee, you'll know how hard this is going to be!

In addition, so now one can claim that you're sponsoring me to go on a much-needed diet, I will also be getting my legs waxed, painfully and in public. We'll have a big party somewhere (date to be confirmed) and you can all come and watch the tears roll down my face...and to spur you on, I will let the people who make the 5 biggest donations do the waxing! Finally, if we make the fundraising target of £500, I'll let you do my chest as well...

So, if you like a bit of schadenfraude or I've ever done something to offend you, dig deep and sponsor me please - and then turn up and watch...

Rob
