Story

Hi, Many thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.

Despite being a bit of a thrill seeker and enjoying physical challenges this challenge is something else!

I will aim to climb the summit of Mont Blanc, Northern Europes highest Mountain.

I am working on the fitness but this will additionally deliver a set of new experiences in terms of ice climbing, crevass navigation; altitude exposure and some pretty cold conditions. we need to be prepared for staying up to 4 nights on the mountain in some Bivvy or ice hole - so it's likely to be more demanding than what I've usually been involved in.

The week long high altitude climb to reach the summit (3.1miles above sea level) is three times higher than Ben Nevis and is prone to dangers such as rock slide'sl avalanche and rapidly changing cold weather conditions - which will make this quite a dangerous task.

I've attached some photo's of our training week-end in the Cairngorns and I am happy to carry anyone's flag or business logo or any other object (within reason) to the Summit; and provide the photgraphic evidence of having reached the top.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Every donation however small would be greatly appreciated.

The charity is quite new but essentially is there to look at exposing the risks of new Cancers developing through the massive increase in technological advancement particulalrly mobile phone use etc and the very real risk exposure from electromagnetic radiation to Children.
