Rob Roy Challenge 19th June 2010 · 19 June 2010

Martin Currie Charitable Foundation is run by staff of Edinburgh-based investment management business, Martin Currie. We support a number of good causes through charitable donations and volunteering. Our main fundraising event is the Martin Currie Rob Roy Challenge, held each year in June.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In an attempt to lose weight, gain fitness and more importantly raise money for some good causes, I along with Mick Forster and a few others fellas will take part in the Rob Roy Challenge.

On Saturday 19th June 2010. Our team will complete 55 miles of the spectacular Rob Roy Way, walking 16 miles from Drymen, near Loch Lomond, north-east through the Trossachs to Callander, where we will switch to bikes for a 39 mile cycle to Kenmore - all in around 6-12 hours (hopefully).

Through the sponsorship of individuals and teams, the event will raise money for the Martin Currie Charitable Foundation and its charity partners. Now in its fifth year, the Rob Roy Challenge has already raised over £1.5 million for good causes.

I would like to thank you for looking at my page. Any donations gratefully received.
