<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Between February 10th and 19th, 2012, I will be embarking on a 100km trek across part of the Sahara Desert in Morocco.</p> <p>I have been a keen walker for many years, but this will be my greatest challenge to date! I will have to give up all of life's little luxuries and live the nomadic way of life in the relentless heat of the desert for 6 days!</p> <p>I am part of a team of 49 trekkers undertaking this challenge to raise essential funds for Beaumond House Community Hospice in Newark. The Hospice is a registered charity that provides support to patients with life limiting or terminal illnesses, living in Newark and the surrounding area.</p> <p>Each year the charity provides care for over 400 patients and support for their families, caring for around 100 patients at any one time.
