Story

I am delighted to have the opportunity to be able to take part in a sponsored cycle to raise funds for the Oscar Knox appeal. I am sure many of you have heard of this wonderful & very special kid who has endured so much, so bravely & continues to do so.Read Oscar's story and why he has captured the hearts of so many.

Unfortunately due to my own health issue's, I'll be wearing a portable oxygen backpack (see image below) Therefore, I will "Pedal4Oscar" 92 miles (distance from Glasgow to Belfast) on a fixed appartus in a gymnasium. Nevertheless I am delighted to be given the go ahead to assist in raising funds and awareness for such a wonderful cause and a special wee boy.

Oscar is indeed a total inspiration. He helps alleviate my own worries and pains in the brave way he faces his many ails as I'm sure he does for all of us. Wee Oscar's bravery throughout the many set backs that have arisen, has been a source of encouragement and is of special significance to myself and many others who endure the stress of illness ourselves, especially in those darker moments.

Please give what you can for this worthy cause and very special brave little boy. All donations are very much appreciated. Thank you.

Regards Gerry xx
