We provide specialist palliative care to patients across Forth Valley, Cumbernauld & Kilsyth in the Hospice and in patients' own homes. We need to raise £16,637 every day and with your support we can help our patients to live well right up until the end of their life and make every moment count.
Story
We are so grateful for your support in our fundraising activity for Strathcarron Hospice, as our team tackles the YorkshireThree Peaks Challenge.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is 24-miles(38.6km) round trip route, and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent.
We will take on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres) in under 12 hours. These hills form part of the Pennine range and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
As an independent hospice, Strathcarron cares for over 1,400 people every year at a time when both they and their family need it most. The Hospice philosophy is about living until you die and the team ensure people have every opportunity to achieve their goals right up until the last moment. To do this, the charity needs to raise raise over £14,635 a day to keep its services running. Please support me as I challenge myself for Strathcarron Hospice. Just £24 can pay for one hour of nursing care and really will make a difference. Thank you.
