Story
Over the last few years a team from LST has successfully managed to complete the National 3 peaks challenge within the allotted time of 24 hours, the 3 highest peaks in the Lake District between Dawn and Dusk. This year our aim is to complete the Welsh 3000’s in a 24hour period on the 29th June 2007. We have chosen a walk which is genuinely challenging, 18 peaks 14 of which are over 3000 feet including Snowden the highest peak in . Fitness and team work will be the key to success.
We were overwhelmed with the response we received last year, and thanks to the incredible support from across the company and from all of our service partners, we raised in excess of £10,500 for our three selected charities. This year we have selected this charity along with two others, all which have close personal links to some one on this years challenge;
Queens Court Hospice – this charity provides first class in-patient, out-patient and day therapy care for those with far advanced, progressive and incurable disease (mainly cancer related) throughout the North West of England.

North London Hospice who cares for those living with a terminal illness in the Borough of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey.

Douglas Macmillan Hospice - The Hospice is the only adult Hospice for the people of North Staffordshire and surrounding villages. They were established in 1973 and have grown over the years not only in size but also in the range and amount of care services available for local people.
