Hello, 

We will be attempting the Welsh 3000s Challenge at the end of June to raise funds for Cancer Research UK in memory of Simon’s uncle Stan, who passed away earlier this year after a long struggle with cancer. 

For those of you who aren’t aware of what it entails, the Welsh 3000s Challenge is a long distance hike that involves ascending all fifteen of Wales’ 3000ft mountains within the space of twenty-four hours without the aid of transport. Although we were originally intending to complete our attempt within twenty-four hours, we have recently made the decision to complete our attempt over the course of two days instead, which is still an incredible physical and mental challenge. 

We have set up this Just Giving sponsors page for anyone who would like to sponsor our attempt. Please feel free to make a donation and forward the sponsor page to other people as any and all donations will be greatly appreciated by Cancer Research UK. 

In addition to the sponsor page, we have also set up a blog to keep everyone who is interested informed of our preparations and eventual attempt at the Welsh 3000s Challenge.
