Well we made it.  Set off on Sunday 7th July and 10 days later we completed the 125 mile walk around the coast of Anglesey.  It was tough going in the heatwave but we did it; fitter and more tanned than when we started.  What a magical place Anglesey is, we now know where all the best beaches are and plan to revisit some of our favourite places.   we haven't collect all our sponsor money yet but with the gift aid we reckon we've raised about £2,000 for Marys Meals, so thanks to everyone that supported us on our anglesey adventure.

Christmas 2012 was when the idea to walk around Anglesey came to fruition.  Every year my brother Ian and I donate to a charity in lieu of Christmas presents for one another.  Christmas 2012 was no different and we decided to go for Mary's Meals this time around.  The more we read through the Marys Meals info the more we realised what worthwhile works Marys Meals does.  On Christmas day we saw a short film about Marys Meals and that fuelled the idea of converting our holiday into a walk for charity.  The rest as they say is history.  We are now scheduled to walk around Anglesey 6-16th July.  Its a 200km circualr route which means that we will have to walk about 20km per day for 10 days.  Thanks a lot for your support - Wendy & John
