I am running the Great North Run in memory of my Father who passed away last November. My Father was a very special man with a larger than lfe character who is greatly missed by all that knew him. While training for this event he has been my inspiration, on cold rainy days, or days when I just haven't felt like it, his memory is what has got me out of the door!

My nominated charity is The Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust. The trust has been set up by Kelly to help young people both get the most out of their sport, but also their lives. It is also designed to help young sports people make the transition from their sporting career to normal working life. It enables past sports performers to utilise their skills at the same time helping others to get the best out of themselves.
