My story
I am privileged to be involved in raising funds which go directly to uplifting orphaned African (Zambian) children. The Africa Enterprise Trust does amazing work in first rescuing kids from the streets, and then setting them up in a supportive environment so that they can achieve academically. The Trust also has programs to further educate former street kids and other young people. In addition they help small businesses with micro loans.
Africa and poor children are such a clichéd topic that most donors have severe fatigue regarding this particularly devastating topic. Please consider that helping just one child has huge spin-off to the wider community. Us Africans don’t want to see our children living on the street and the Africa Enterprise Trust (www.aetuk.org) needs your help. I will run the 26 miles all you need to do is click on the “Donate” link.

Africa Enterprise Trust does exciting work in Zambia with poor and vulnerable children and young adults. We run Family Homes for street kids and abandoned children. We run a Computer School which develops key work skills. And we run other Vocational Training and Community support programmes.
